To everyone outside the US, I've found a cure for our "must-see-new-House-episopes-asap" disease.
So I thought I'd share it with you. :)
To watch full-lenght episodes of the tv-shows on Fox.com you technically have to live in the US to stream the player.
But I've found a software, UltraSurf, wich enables users outside the US with heavy internet censorship so that any public web site can be entered safly and freely.
This works perfectly for me on the Fox site. The House eps is streaming perfectly and everything works fine. I've had some problems on ABC and NBC networks though. Don't know what's worng, but it might just be something with my browser. I dunno. But I'm not crying myself to sleep because of it either, cause my main target was the Fox site. :D
NB! I do not take any responsibility for any "side effects" your computer might get from this download. I'm not saying this because I think there's anything wrong with it, I'm just covering my ass. :P It's been perfectly safe for me, but if you like, you can read about the software and download the userguide here:
http://www.ultrareach.com/company/download.htmOne more thing. Despite the fact that I am a devoted FireFox user, this is set up for Internet Explorer. And it wont work in FireFox. (It doesn't work with me. But maybe it works with you.) So to all toy FireFox'es out here, dig up yout Explorer browser and start the installation.
Edit: If you are using browser other than Explorer, you have to modify your proxy IP address to 127.0.0.1 with port :9666.
How to get started:
1. Dowload the software:
http://www.wujie.net/downloads/ultrasurf/u.zip2. The Explorer browser will pop up and you will see a golden padlock down in the right corner.
3. Go to the Fox site and have a ball!
Let me know if you're having any problems. :) I can do my best to help.
Rock on,
Lydia
